About the book
In 2007, a group of Swedish larpers and theatre people banded together to create the visionary larp ”A nice evening with the family”. The larp borrowed heavily from theatre and as part of the larp, a 184 page book containing six Nordic plays was published. The book is not, strictly speaking, a larp document, but it is an interesting collection of influential Nordic theatre plays that were deemed relevant enough to provide input for a larp produced more than one hundred years later. The exception to this is MoominPappa at Sea, which is a more modern text, but it fits well into the theme of family, facade and folly that was pre-dominant at ”A nice evening with the family” in 2007.
